The PEOPLE Project held its second physical meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, bringing together partners and collaborators to review progress, share insights, and plan the next phase of work. Hosted at the WMO, the meeting focused on advancing inclusive and locally grounded early warning systems in alignment with the WWRP and the Early Warnings for All initiative. Participants emphasized the importance of co-production, community engagement, and cross-sector collaboration to ensure early warnings are equitable, trusted, and effective. The main outcomes of the meeting included the establishment of 2 tasks, with a global and local focus, respectively.
